Gotta be one of the best villain lairs. Underwater, massive golden globe in the center, six-seater monorail cars, populated with henchmen in chic rust-colored jumpsuits. Can't claim the same level of interest in the story, but it doesn't really matter when you've got Marvin Hamlisch delivering the most 70s score ever written, and Mrs. Ringo Starr in an assortment of low-cut dresses.

It's a very good play! As a movie, it feels stuck onstage. The direction tries for cinematic interpretation, but comes off awkward. The added locations and moments feel, well, added. Unnecessary, really. The performances are...interesting! Though fun to watch, they play for the back row even with a camera inches from their face. It keeps everything fairly distant, and goofier than intended. In conclusion, Ryan Murphy retire bitch
