This movie feels 38x longer as all the others… and the de-aging stuff seems kinda lazy, like they couldn’t find a better way to write this without the flashbacks, which … shouldn’t be necessary according to like 99% of every creative writing teacher I’ve ever had 😂
But still, Harrison Ford is as endearing as ever
You know how there used to be a thing where you were either a Beatles person or a Rolling Stones person? I feel like that’s the same with Mission Impossible and James Bond. I am not interested in James Bond at all but I always enjoy these dumbass movies.

What an utterly strange and occasionally unsettling movie. It goes in all sorts of directions before landing where it does, taking about 15 minutes longer than needed to get there. There is so much VHS porn here—close-ups of tape heads and magnets and CRT TVs with all brands of tape noise—it is almost an ode to the medium itself.
Filmed in Denver, which is always fun to see!
