"It was Night Monkey!"
Spider-Man: Far From Home is charged with the thankless task of cleaning up after Avengers: Endgame, the biggest event movie of all time (even if it didn't break Avatar's world box office record). Jon Watts and co. do an adequate job of de-escalating the stakes and setting the stage for phase 4. It just doesn't feel enough like a Spider-Man film though, rather it's just another Avengers film with Spider-Man in it. The movie fails to stand on it's own, and lacks a personal identity. If you enjoyed the last few installments to the MCU, this will most likely be right up your alley. Personally, I just don't know if I like this iteration of Spider-Man. Tobey is still king.
