    If nothing else this movie may have illuminated for me why Malick is (by all accounts) such a big fan of Zoolander. For what is Knight of Cups but another tale of a man's stumbling search through a neon haze of outré high fashion and vacant pop culture artifice for some sign that there's more to life than being really, really, ridiculously good-looking?

    "Don't be distracted by the beautiful celebrities," indeed.

    Both movies even feature cameos by Fabio! I think I'm really onto something here...
