astonishingly good. perfect balance of tones and great writing that isn’t too tongue-in-cheek but knows that this isn’t the most serious movie, which is refreshing even post-Guardians and Suicide Squad. the easter eggs and fine details (Larry Fong poster, the officer’s name badge cutting off after “Cumm”) and Zack’s love for his daughter shining through really make the movie so easy to appreciate, even if it all just adds up to a big badass bloated B-movie. if you don’t like this movie i’m just gonna assume you hate fun.
