Tiago Cardoso’s review published on Letterboxd:
We are all monsters. The journey (defloration) of an innocent teenager through the gates of hell (college campus rules) using cannibalism as a form of humanism (physical seizing of flesh as a metaphor for a sexual awakening) turning a shy little girl into a sly huntress. Body transformation talks for the character (metaphor for the willing to accept the female body). The animal inside our bodies can’t escape explored as the essence of humanity (commentary about our society). The monsters that we see are actually human, and not vampires and not supernatural creatures.
