So where's the rest of the ending and why hasn't it been released yet?
Stands apart from the speechifying and handwringing of, say, Three Days of The Condor mostly by being so goddamn weird. Patriotic music blares while characters are murdered. Actors dwarfed by grey 70's architecture. Seemingly important conversations happen offscreen, if at all. And to top it all off, one of the biggest punch in the gut endings of the 70's. A truly frightening, original work.
