about halfway through this rewatch me and freddie were literally driven to tears from laughing at the combined energies before us on screen... cary elwes' accent slipping, his screaming, his crying, the infamous line STOP THE LIES! YOU'RE A LIAR! honest to god my vision was swimming, i couldn't see straight, everything was blurring and trembling around me, my heart stopped beating for a second. i LOVE this movie and it almost killed me this time

It 2017
man i rewatched this after a long time of not having seen it and it just didn't hit the way it used to. knocked two whole stars off my rating and it sucks hard. it's a combination of chapter 2 being such toilet garbage that it's stained this movie and also just the fact that the shitty parts of chapter 2 are very visible in this movie too in retrospect and i can't unsee them. :<
