Tim Daugherty’s review published on Letterboxd:
A few things struck me as I re-watched this for the third time...
1. The character of Keller (Hugh Jackman) feels especially relevant right now. A gun toting survivalist willing to break the law for attacks on his manhood and notions of protecting his tribe.
2. I wonder if this would've worked better as an 8 episode mini-series on HBO??? (assuming you could still have Villeneuve and Deakins involved) There's at least 1/2 dozen reveal moments that would've worked as end-of-an-episode cliff hangers.
