I actually came here to feast my eyes on Henry Cavill in tight fitted 17th century clothing!
Enola Holmes — is an adventure filled family movie that showcases Millie Bobby Brown’s charisma on screen a little bit beyond than what she has given us thus far in Stranger Things. Albeit predictable for the most part, getting an on screen take of a different Holmes sibling was fresh and suitably enjoyable.
Deflecting from the heretic, more emotionless versions of Sherlock that we are accustomed to, one cannot help criticise the inconsistent portrayal of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous detective. But we have to give him a pass, for being the handsomest, nevertheless.
I’m always a sucker for storylines that subtly, or in its essence champion women and their power; from jujutsu, liberation, empowerment, and making some goddamn noise in order to get the world to change!
