when i say i care more about this shell with a single googly eye than most members of my extended family i am not joking. what a delight

funny sweet cute beautiful and deeply sad but also hopeful. about the pandemic, the internet, making art, making friends, losing a loved one, taking risks, having fun, letting yourself love the world even though it is huge and alien and terrifying

loved this one soooooo much definitely gonna be a top 2022 one for me

soft and glittering fabrics, gleaming jewels, rich carpets, slow and deliberate movement, dialogue that seems to come from everyone and no one, a house so still and full of poison that every hum and grunt sounds loud and full of pain, smoke wafted through a room to ward off evil, a hand drawn gently against a fragile wrist, a piece of metal to the heart or to the head—a series of shakespearean deaths that finally release us into the outside world, where we can breathe again

    watched @ the trylon

cody griffin pulling badly cgi'd scales out of his hands vs. nina sayers pulling feathers out of her back... cinematic parallels
