Todd Russell’s review published on Letterboxd:
Jane Fonda plays a hyper-sexualized woman in a very warped deep future filled with dwarven aliens with metallic teeth, rides on teradactyl sleds through clouds, bizarre sex rituals and that's just the first 30 minutes or so. This is one acid trip sci-fi that you can't possibly watch and not wonder who was high when they created this picture.
The opening scene alone, which reportedly Jane Fonda herself had to be drunk to completely disrobe on a spinning glass table. After the scene, viewers aren't sure what the purpose was other than to show a young, nude Fonda? Why did she have to spin around and become nude? Just ... because?
Fonda has never had another role even half as strange, unusual and provocative as this one. Need to be in the right kind of mood to appreciate this odd film. I'm admittedly not a big fan, I mean there are misfires long Barbarella's quirky adventure, but do appreciate what the filmmakers tried to do here. Recommended.
