Todd Russell’s review published on Letterboxd:
Good music in this Italian horror movie is a highlight. An 80s pop/synth background music but also featuring rock from Motley Crue, Billy Idol, Saxon, Accept and more. Plot is a special movie invitation for two young women leads to an unusual screening that breaks out into a supernatural showdown.
Most of the film takes place inside a theater which is a clever backdrop. The special effects are OK, the script is above average, particularly the outcome, but the acting just isn't very good. It's not like a horror film requires academy award performances, but the acting was below average, even for an 80s horror movie, which is a bummer. The dialogue in particular is weak. Overall kind of meh, but upgraded by the music to OK. Not recommended.
