Todd Russell’s review published on Letterboxd:
"Can't be Twittering pictures of the puzzles."
So, this horror flick checks familiar boxes: young, gullible, good-looking adults (one token 50+ guy included), assembled by mysterious entity for game to win money prize.
The Escape Room is trapped and the group of strangers to each other need to figure out how to escape.
Another variation on the movie Cube. The primary focus solving the puzzles to escape the current room to get safely to another room before the trap(s) start killing. The movie was popular enough to spawn a sequel. It kept me entertained, felt more like mystery thriller than horror. Not scary, just OK.
