All the time watching this long movie, I kept wanting to get into it the way that I got into the book so many years ago. Stephen King is already thought of as a master storyteller and it's no surprise this film draws from his awesome source material and the 75% full theater seemed to enjoy this film. Both my wife and I came to the conclusion that it wasn't scary. The book is scary. Clowns are creepy. Many scenes drew me back to my fond memories of reading the book, so in that regard it is a success. Just an OK film for me.
