Wish there were more mystery whodunit movies like this coming out these days.
Knives Out - Just left the theater (no spoilers)
This was a great whodunit and brought me back to movies like Murder on the Orient Express where the viewer is trying to figure out what is a clue and what is subterfuge. What matters, what doesn't?
Was so happy to see this having public advance screenings. We didn't have very good seats (very front row, ick) but luckily the comfy recliner seats let us go way back to enjoy this one.
Can't say much about the plot without spoiling, but it centers around a somewhat eccentric mystery fiction writer who has his throat slashed. The family assembles with James Bond (Daniel Craig) as the brilliant, yet quirky detective trying to piece together the criminal. Very old school mystery feel, which I very much enjoyed. Just see it when it comes out.
