Todd Russell’s review published on Letterboxd:
The 80s action movie scene belonged to a handful of heavyweights including Schwarzenegger who uses this revenge vehicle to avenge the murder of a police detective's son that a crime boss orders a hit on an undercover informant and becomes collateral damage. Mark Kaminsky (Schwarzenegger) goes undercover himself to join the crime boss's crew as an enforcer. It doesn't take long for his cover to come into question and Kaminsky to go off.
The acting is on par with Commando, but you get the sense that Arnold is trying to improve. The story is cliched and most characters are just there to become body count, but it's fun and entertaining. Recommended.
