Todd Russell’s review published on Letterboxd:
Perfection, population of 14, attacked by man-eating creatures underground. While the premise is compelling and the hydra-like dirt-loving creatures are nasty-looking, the sense of dread is minimized by the dark comedy execution. It was well received enough to spawn multiple sequels, but it's not as frightening as it wants to be. Liked it, not loved it. If you want to be scared by a horror movie, it's not recommended, but if you want a relatively fun monster story, check it out.
