    A rather forgettable but tasteful drama thriller centered around a West Virginia urban legend and real life tragedy.  I wasn’t a fan of the editing but that might just be because it’s a product of the early 2000s.  A lot of mid-tier action and thriller films from that time were edited like this.  The set pieces for the bridge collapse was neat though.  Oops, I mean - SPOILER ALERT for a 20 year old film that’s since been forgotten about…

    Family friendly fun that’s great for kids but not great for adults.  This was a very annoying film.

    The Babysitter is such a roller-coaster of a film.  Samara Weaving does such a good job of being like-able and charming that when her true self is revealed, it’s not only jarring, but kind of off-putting.  

    McG has never been known to be a subtle director, and his work here is about what you’d expect from him.  Loud, chaotic, cringey, and lacks restraint.  I will say, I didn’t hate this, but I think if someone else had directed it,…
