"You have no idea what I'm talking about, do you?"
"No. But it sounds important."
This was like if Christopher Nolan took me parachuting, and then kicked me unexpectedly out of the plane and expected me to read the instructions for how to work my chute, as I tumbled towards the ground at high speed.
This movie really just drops you in the deep end right away, and I left the theater still not really knowing what happened. I know Christopher Nolan likes to give us crazy plots, but this was a whole other level lol. Did not dislike this by any means, but it's begging for a rewatch so I can properly make sense of it.
I get what people mean by the lack of emotional connection, the only character that felt like they had any development was Elizabeth Debickis. This movies goal is obviously to just give us some kick ass visuals, and it definitely delivers in that aspect.
Grand in scale, great action pieces, some attractive people, made me confused, and lots of loud noise - it's the most 'Christopher Nolan' movie he's ever made.
