Got so emotionl during the end I was scared if I opened my mouth I'd either start sobbing or scream. Always blows me away that these films were made.

This was a nightmare and I hate that a couple jokes actually made me laugh.

Wasn't what I was expecting tone wise but I loved it. The ending rocked lol.

Seeing a new Fincher film always warms my heart. The humor mostly worked for me and a few scenes really stood out. The filmmaking craft from Fincher in general just impresses me in general, what a master.

Somehow gets scarier everytime I go back to it. I remember growing up with woods surrounding me, and feeling anxcious when I'd walk out into it and seeing how large it was. Wide open space with no end in sight. This film really captures that feeling.

As I let this sit some of the ideas have grown on me. Obsession over the original film, reality and fiction being confused and whether film we're watching or the tapes are the truth.

Too bad this movie is still total shit tho! I have no idea what the studio was thinking releasing a sequel like this. I feel like a preieme of this would be like what William Friedkin said about Exorcist 2, where after 10 minutes the studio…

This was... insane. I haven't laughed so hard at a so-bad-it's-good movie like this in a while. All the CGI abysmal, especially when you think of the fact that Fellowship of the Ring came out the NEXT year. Every performance was either CAMP or REPULSIVE. Felt like a DnD game where the dungeon master went off with creating peak camp villians and then all the players made their characters unbearable. I need a 4K release of this immediately. Don't be without friends or sober when you watch this.

I've never actually played Dungeons and Dragons, but I've been playing Baldurs Gate over the last month and got 200 hours, so my interest has gone way up. Watching this has settled I need to join a DnD group. This was packed full of the kind of loveable charm, fun action, and fun characters that recent MCU films think they have. I had a smile on my face the entire time watching this.

    I've only played BG3 and caught a…

Usually I find 'urban legend' horror movies to be pretty lame, but this really impressed me, especially for a directors first film. Reminded me of Twin Peaks at times but also felt completely unique to its own world. Managed to only unsettled me more and more as things slowly revealed themselves. Fantastic underseen horror film, and I'm very happy to see its slowly gaining an audience.

Back in 2007 my parents rented Quarantine for family movie night and I remember liking it quite a bit (although I never went back). Over the years since then I always heard how incredible the original film REC was but for some reason never got around to it.

Looking back Quarantine is such a Hollywood-afied version. REC had me tensed up and constantly wondering what would happen next (except unfortunately for the final shot). The found footage style made this…
