Todd Gaines’s review published on Letterboxd:
It’s the little things that kill.
The Little Things is a very entertaining crime thriller. Denzel Washington is the man, and Rami Malek holds his own with one of the greatest actors of our generation. However, it is creepy as creepy can be Jared Leto that steals every scene he’s in. Leto’s style of acting can be a huge turnoff for some, but he’s perfectly cast in The Little Things.
I also like the fact the film takes place in 1990. No internet or cellphones. Just solid and real police work. Also, props for how everything turns out. I think the film is very satisfying from start to finish.
