Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness 2022
I’ve decided I would prefer if my favourite directors are kept away from the MCU. At this point I wish each MCU film had a completely different style and feeling depending on the director because every film in this universe is starting to feel the same. There were moment when you could tell this was a Raimi movie but I just wish it was even more of a Raimi movie if that makes sense.
Wanda was definitely the standout here though and Doctor Strange is my favourite Marvel character so that’s saying something.

Star Wars 1977
Some of the greatest characters and worlds ever put to film have come from this incredible franchise and it all started here. It’s not as perfect as Empire Strikes Back and I don’t have as much nostalgia for it as I do for Revenge of the Sith but George Lucas took the biggest risk with this one. It seemed destined to fail and yet it was so successful and beloved that even on this very day we are receiving trailers for future instalments. The risk paid off and still to this day everyone comes back to this iconic original film.
