A German boy in World War II era Germany is struggling to fit in with the Nazi party. His imaginary friend, goofy Adolf Hitler, tries to “help“ him...but his difficulties are compounded when he discovers that his mother is part of the resistance against the Nazis...and she is sheltering a Jewish girl.
