Tom O'Meara’s review published on Letterboxd :
Never have I witnessed such personality, such close attention to detail and such hidden themes and societal issues packed into a crime tv show.
Each character is developed to an extent which gives them extremely relatable and sympathetic traits and backstories.
Every choice impacts another and forms a butterfly effect of human mistakes...and human endeavour.
Each character undergoes extensive and revealing change which acts as a commentary on the justice system and its effects on those involved.
The cinematography is so fucking striking and reveals so much on its own about characters, places and attitudes.
Also Riz Ahmed stars in it so theoretically it should be an instant 5 stars.
