I got about ten minutes in and gave up. Some of the reviews said “shot like a car commercial” and “no chemistry” and “terrible writing” and just yup to all of them. Why can’t streamers make more movies like Roma?
Saw this in my local indie cinema, first time since the pandemic. Went in knowing nothing about it except that it stars Tilda Swindon as a composer or something. Spoiler alert: it does not actually star Tilda Swindon but it’s incredible.
