A.I. is one of the most underrated films I have ever seen. It is a beautiful tale of emotion, humanity, and mortality. It perfectly blends the spectacle and sentimentality of Spielberg with the bizarre and surrealism of Kubrick. It moved me to tears, and hacks like the Nostalgia Critic should not prevent you from seeing it.
"Robocop" is really great. It feels like a classic comic book throughout. Robocop is an awesome hero, with a cool origin and amazing design. The action is bloody and over-the-top, but it fits in well with this flashy vision of the future. The effects are also impressive, especially with the ED-209. The story is a clever satire of American culture of the 1980s, and feels like something from the pen of Frank Miller (ironic, since he went on to write the screenplays for the sequels). Overall, this is one of best action films of its decade. It's smart, entertaining, and pleasing to the eye.
