Tommy Crawford’s review published on Letterboxd :
Some of the meditative Jarmusch-y poetry stuff works far better in PATTERSON than it does here. Alfred Molina and the drug trip ending give it bonus points. For everything that I don't like about this movie, there's something that brings it back. It drags for sure and some of the writing/acting is stilted, but the Neil Young soundtrack is amazing and Robby Müller made this film look beautiful. A super muted Depp performance, I think I loved it?
This was a great prequel to THE LONE RANGER.
