Superbly directed and I cried buckets but Denzel’s character pissed me off and didn’t seem to learn or grow enough for me by the end.

Genius in every sense of the word, it only seems to get better every time I watch it. 93 must’ve been a helluva year. ONLY Spielberg could’ve directed this film. For no apparent reason I strongly dislike David Koepp and it annoys me that he co-wrote this brilliant screenplay. Of course there are dumbass character that make dumbass decisions and the kids are fucking stupid sometimes, but everything else is so good…

Andrew Garfield seems like he’s a great big spoon.
For real though this film is a beautiful tribute and inspiration to artists everywhere. I couldn’t stop crying the entire third act, I had stopped audibly weeping at that point but the tears just kept leaking out and now the corners of my eyes are gonna be all red and scratchy soon. Well done, Lin. Can’t wait to rewatch on Netflix soon, I saw this in a theater!
