Definitely better than The Force Awakens. I was far more invested in this movie’s plot—which thankfully isn’t just a copy of EP5—and I really enjoyed what was done with the characters. The second act is a little too long but I still remained engaged in each of the movie’s plots. I’ve got heaps more to say but I don’t feel like typing it all out. 

I’m very happy with this movie. It was a great follow up to TFA. 8.5/10
