Scooby-Doo 2002
Yes I’m rating this higher than the boondock saints...and I should be allowed to do that.

The Boondock Saints 1999
This is an good movie, but I don’t get the hype. Willem Dafoe is great as always. The last clips of news interviews at the end keep it from entering Joker territory.

Zombieland: Double Tap 2019
This is lowkey a movie for boomers to laugh at sometimes but it’s still good.

The Lighthouse 2019
This has been my most anticipated movie since that picture of Dafoe and Pattinson dropped and it did not disappoint. I saw a few articles and reviews that said The Lighthouse is empty or not as deep as they expected. I completely agree, it’s not thematically deep in any way, but I don’t think it’s supposed to be. This is two guys going crazy on a lighthouse rock together. It’s a hilarious yet unsettling at times, slow descent to madness…

George Harrison: Living in the Material World 2011
When people as if there was one person living or alive that you would like to have dinner with, it’s this man. I’m not the biggest fan of The Beatles and some of their music but I always appreciated Harrison.

Undone 2019
Undone (2019) has the spiritual curiosity of The Fountain (2006), the medium style of A Sanner Darkly (2006) and comes with a great set of three dimensional characters. This could have easily been a movie but instead it’s chopped up nicely and served to you. Even though I am not a religous person I do love when people creating stories include spiritual or religous subjects into a story especially when it’s paired or up against science and their inherent feud.
