What starts out as a really creepy supernatural haunting thriller that manages to build up a good deal of tension and suspense in the first half completely shoots itself in the foot with a "twist" that turns it into a rather silly serial killer story. It's a pity because there is a really good committed performance from Death Valley's Caity Lotz that keeps you interested but unfortunately can't paper over the plot holes and the extremely dumb ending. If writer/director Nicholas McCarthy had stuck to the supernatural thriller aspects instead of trying to be too clever with the now obligatory twist this could have been pretty good.
