Alec Toombs’s review published on Letterboxd:
Strives to be Orson Welles' F for Fake. The first half plays more like P for Pretentious. I greatly preferred the back half once I fell into the picture's rhythms. I also greatly prefer Martin Scorsese's previous Bob Dylan doc, No Direction Home, where it's just the facts, ma'am. Rolling Thunder Revue's prankish nature certainly suits Dylan's sensibilities however and the concert footage is electric.
