Slaypril #47

Jason finally dons the legendary hockey mask and unsurprisingly that makes the movies thereon more enjoyable, and this one is no exception even with (or especially because of) the goofy and forced 3D gimmick shots which I was unfortunately too lazy to grab any of my surprisingly plentiful 3D glasses collection to enjoy. The kills in this are fun, the characters aren’t as compelling as the first two movies but they’re basically just set up to be picked off in these later sequels so who cares lol, there’s a decent amount of blood and gore, and Jason’s pretty cool compared to the first two. This one reminded me a lot of the Friday the 13th video game and kind of made me want to play that again but I doubt anyone even remembers that exists anymore.
