George Ehret’s review published on Letterboxd:
This film fucking ruled. As a huge Spider-Man fan (particularly Peter Parker), I never thought we’d get a Spider-Man film better than any of the Raimi movies, but here we are. I’m not so sure that this is the best superhero movie period, but this is the best superhero movie of this decade, bar-none. I think it’s reasonable to say that this is the first film I’ve seen in a very long time that was just pure fun but done RIGHT. Why don’t we have more blockbusters like this? How come, Chief Willoughby? Every part of this movie is essentially perfect. The animation is gorgeous and creative. The writing is top notch with sharp dialogue and some really funny moments. The editing is perfect. The soundtrack is immaculate. This is definitely worth the hype. It is a must watch.
