A lot of interesting ideas, sufficiently weird and grotesque. My only real complaint is the performances in English instead of Japanese, they’re so bad, such a bad decision to go that route, I’m sure it had something to do with “masters of horror” audiences but whatever, learn to appreciate film in other languages, Jesus.

Top Gun: Maverick 2022
I can’t tell you how emasculating it was to walk out of this movie and drive away in a 4 cylinder Prius. Truly myth making on screen, I mean the guy lives in a hanger, literally.
Edit: Also realizing now I’m back, thanks to this movie, I’m in the mainstream baby! I’m in that crowd that gets pleased! The random older lady next to me gladly acknowledged that “he’s the fastest” every time there was a moment of doubt in the movie and totally infected my viewing of this movie for the better. -
