Trevor Young’s review published on Letterboxd:
"Love has limits"
"It should not"
Just give this best original screenplay right fucking now. How can something have such percise and powerful characters, dramatic tension, and be one of the funniest films I've seen?
Yorgos's ability to be so wholly unique is incredible. And it makes him perhaps my "favourite" living director.
A lot has been said about the performances of the three female leads and rightfully so. Weisz in particular seems so strong here.
As I was sitting in the theatre before the showing I had an unfair thought. "This may be my favorite film of all-time."
It's not sadly, but despite those incredibly unfairly high expectations I still think it is my favourite film I've seen in 2018. And an absolute powerhouse of cinema.
I hope this wins all the Oscars honestly it deserves it.
Thank you Yorgos you beautiful bastard
