Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul

    ★★½

First and foremost, let's get this out of the way.

    NOT MY RODRICK. No sireee.

    Ok, I'm done.

I'm actually surprised how well it works that every few years they can replace these characters and nothing really changes (except Roderick, of course). Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue

    ★★★

A sweet movie about Tink and her friends being discovered by humans. Not horrible, but definitely not amazing, either. Quite frankly, I'm a little tired of the whole "Dad is a jerk and the kid is always right" trope. It's nothing new and it's sometimes painful to endure. The little girl was super cute, but sometimes her voice got grating and downright annoying. Other than that, a good kids movie good for maybe one watch or so. Not spectacular, but certainly not Norm of the North.

Now, for the record, I don't by any means hate this version. In fact, there are some very likeable traits about this movie, such as the song "Evermore", some of the villager's costumes (namely, the bimbetttes, whose dresses I found beautiful) , et cetera. BUT, I still felt like something was missing. For one, I'm…
