Trip Fontaine’s review published on Letterboxd:
I love a rousing courtroom drama. I think Aaron Sorkin does a great job writing the snappy dialogue for this kind of movie; and, he did a decent job directing as well. With at least 7 characters with arcs and motivations to juggle, it is all pretty clear and straightforward in terms of storytelling. I was thoroughly entertained for the 2 hours of this movie and it was pretty uplifting when it comes down to it. Although some may find it hokey, I was all in and it felt very resonant in the end. Mark Rylance is great and so are both Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Frank Langella. The cast really is good and as much as I dislike Eddie Redmayne typically - he did not ruin this movie for me.
