    “I’M A SUPERHERO!”

James motherfucking Gunn has outdone himself with The Suicide Squad, laying every violent, hilarious and insane card on the table, and the result is a royally badass flush of cinematic brilliance.

I am still in awe! What the hell could we have asked for that this doesn’t deliver on in spades? Lovable characters, tear jerking moments, gloriously bloody violence, exuberant goofiness, cohesive storytelling, competent editing... I know the bar lowered to the basement in 2016, but WOW!!!…

HARK! BE WARY, O YE CINEPHILE OF GREAT CURIOSITY, FOR THIS MESSAGE TO BE BESTOWN UPON THINE OWN EYES SERVES NOT TO WARN THEE, RATHER TO ENLIGHTEN THEE OF A SINGLE TRUTH - THE GREEN KNIGHT IS A PRETTY GOOD MOVIE!

    Where there’s people... there’s power.

God damn if Judas and the Black Messiah isn’t a powerful film. The power of the true story of Fred Hampton and the power of gifted cast members like Daniel Kaluuya and Lakeith Stanfield, that’s some heavy shit right there. Weilding power isn’t something to fuck around with, and fuck around this film does not. It’ll gut you and leave you gasping for air, as it should. Let this film be apart of the revolution,…

An absolute masterclass of screenwriting and acting, 12 Angry Men is a powerfully gripping experience, one of the most well written films I’ve ever seen.

There’s absolutely nothing negative to say about this certified masterpiece. There’s really not a ton I feel compelled to say about it in general - simply put, it is a flawless cinematic epic.

It’s remarkable how a film released in 1957 completely and openly dismisses blatant racism. Beautiful stuff.

I fucking loved 12 Angry Men
