Can I have your MP3 player when you’re dead?
Please. Please. Please.
One of the most important films in cinematic history.
A brutally well crafted, impeccably performed, flawlessly directed masterpiece.
A must see, simply put. I can’t fully express how I feel about the film. It’s so much more than just a film. It’s...
I don’t know. I am still in a state of overwhelming emotional trauma.
Possibly the best film I’ve ever seen.
Two of the best performances of 2018. Daveed Diggs and Rafael Casal play off of each other so brilliantly, both in moments of genuine hilarity and gut-wrenching tension.
I enjoyed looking at this film quite a bit. It was very colorful. The camerawork was so lively, such vibrant direction and such thoughtful and detailed establishing shots of Oakland.
The supporting cast members do a great job as well. There’s not a non-realistic character in the film.
Daveed Diggs rapping throughout…
Completely spectacular. Incredible work by the entire cast. Sam Elliot is a gem. Loved seeing Dave Chapelle. And of course, both Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga blew me away.
Bradley Cooper is a GIFTED director. Incredible camera framing and exceptional use of lighting and colors.
Lady Gaga sure as hell better be invited to the Oscars as well as the Grammys!!! Hopefully Bradley shows up sober this time around.
