one of the perks of being in LA for a few days is having a real, big ass imax theater at my disposal. not that fake imax that’s in most theaters around the nation, but a big, 76 by 97 foot screen. incredible. i know nyc has one, but i’ve never gotten around to going since those are usually wide release films that i can see close to my house without having to pay for a train ticket. but since i was already in the area, i figured “why not?” that shit’s magical. so loud and big and ugh,,, great. definitely going to go to lincoln square’s imax more often now.
