  2001: A Space Odyssey 1968

  I mean it was no Mad God…
  But every special effects shot melted my brain. A true spectacle to see on 70 mm that makes modern IMAX films look dim. 
  There were surprisingly funny moments to balance out the longest and loudest scenes of a people breathing. Seriously never knew what was going on, but I was never bored so that’s cool.
  I loved Hal. Absolute cutie, just wants to finish his mission. Let him finish his mission !

  Man oh man does that mid credit scene undercut a great ending. Live and die for Pizza Papa tho, make him the new Stan Lee cameo!

  I was fine with what I was wearing. Then I turned this on.

  This has been said to death but it’s unbelievable how good we had it in the late 2000’s when movies like this were good and well made and hits at the box office. Throughout this I had the awful feeling if it was made today it’d be a full Netflix series that’d run for 2 seasons. [and I shuttered]
