A fantastic film that showcases the turmoils of immigrants.
This is a film I see no one talking about, and that perplexes me. This is the type of movie budding cinephiles love (or hate). This should be a really popular film. It won 4 césars (the french equivalent of the Oscars). It has brilliant social commentary. It has an ambiguous ending!
Many kids in my film class hated this film because it's about the mundane. All the dialogue is quite boring, as it's just the normal stuff. This film doesn't take you to another world, it just lets you look inside.
