  this movie would fall apart if annie wasn't meg ryan bc then sam would have to be like... "you just... came to my house?? you like, flew across the entire country to stare at me across the street??? that's kinda weird, my dude......." but since it's meg ryan he's like, flattered instead, and honestly i get it
