• Dunkirk

"We shall defend our island whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the beaches. We shall fight on the landing grounds. We shall fight in the field and in the streets. We shall fight in the hills. We shall never surrender."

Rewatching this after doing a short trip to the city of Dunkirk, the movie has even more impact on me. Standing on the same beach 82 years after 400.000 soldiers stood there, unsure of their lives is…

  • Light & Magic

    Light & Magic

An amazing documentary series that revisits the making of the original Star Wars movies & many more all time classics.
It's astonishing how ILM driven by the genius of George Lucas went from doing groundbreaking practical effects to basically inventing every major visual effects software over a span of a few decades. This team of 'magicians' is a really inspiring group, that narrate us through the episodes.
You'll see the films of your childhood differently after you've seen how they were made, I promise. Whether that's good or bad is up to you.

  • Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi's Return

    Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi's Return

Watching this I felt like a 6 year old child again who grew up with the Prequels. I get emotional thinking about that time, because it's filled with so many memories.
It's been 20+ years singe then & as for Star Wars, nothing has changed for me - I absolutely love all of Star Wars
It truly is a return to where it all started. By bringing back all of the original cast members, you know they did it the right way. A perfect follow up documentary of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. Every Star Wars fan will love both!

  • Notting Hill

    Notting Hill

"Can I stay a bit longer?"
    "Stay forever."

This movie has been on my Backup Movies I'm Saving List like forever.
Peak Hugh Grant & Julia Roberts.
My god, how did anyone allow me to wait on seeing this movie for so long?!

    "And don't forget,
I'm also just a girl standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her."

I know I'm late in saying this, but Notting Hill is one of the very best Romantic Comedies ever!…

  • Man in the Arena: Tom Brady

Man in the Arena: Tom Brady

The story of Tom Brady's professional career as the greatest Quarterback of all time. As thrilling and exciting it is to watch Tom & his teammates remember & reflect on their time together, their accomplishments & their legacy, it's the personal input we get so witness that makes Man in the Arena a must watch!
Regardless of what you think of Tom Brady, Football or Sports in general - this is a story about life & everyone can get something out of it.

  • Mission: Impossible - Fallout

    Mission: Impossible - Fallout

Mission Impossible Fallout not only just raised the bar with the !real! skydive scene, they also added Henry Cavill, Angela Bassett & Vanessa Kirby - Are you kidding me?
They even took the take in which he jumps between 2 buildings & breaks his foot.

Everytime I see Henry Cavill's mustache I find myself smiling, because of the Justice League CGI incident.

This is the most well-constructed story of all MI movies! I really don't know how they're going to try to…

  • Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation

    Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation

Best opening scene since the beginning of the series! Tom Cruise is just insane.
This movie is loaded with insane stunts performed mostly by the actors themselves!

The addition of Rebecca Ferguson is brilliant, because she's an action professional & displays it perfectly. Oh and let's not forget the immaculate Jeremy Renner!

It's really one of the few franchises in history, that gets better & better with every film! Topping the ones before with new talent, crazy stunts & amazing fights.

  • Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol

    Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol

They brought back a version of the original opening credits from the first MI, which was a nice throwback.
Always great to see Sawyer outside of Lost!
You can tell by little moments & choice of music that they were purposely trying to implement a more comedic feel to everything, especially through Simon Pegg. This kind of felt like a Reboot or Reimagening of the MI movie series.

  • Mission: Impossible III

    Mission: Impossible III

Philip Seymour Hoffman was such a force, it's unbelievable! RIP
I like how they made this sequel very close to home & his wife. I think it makes it a kind of dragging plot point for later, but let's not ever overthink these kinds of movies, because they're there to have a great time!

  • Mission: Impossible II

    Mission: Impossible II

"That punk put a hole in my Versace" - Luther

This sequel fully leans into the silliness & action-driven trend of the late 90's & early 2000's - Love it!
Tom Cruise with his long hair is truly impossible to stop.

  • Mission: Impossible

    Mission: Impossible

I can't believe they put shots from the movie in the opening credits. Freaking hilarious.

I'm pretty sure Jean Reno & Ving Rhames are the 2 coolest actors ever.

The iconic Mission Impossible cable move & the face masks will forever hold up & damn can Tom Cruise sell a magic trick.
Let's never question the helicopter in tunnel scene ever.

  • Nope

Man Jordan Peele! You got me good with this one. I was glued to & pressed into my seat for most of the time, as NOPE shows some disturbing & fascinating stuff. You can't look away, but kind of want to.

If you know me, I'm a sucker for Sci-Fi based films, that scratch on the edges of theory & reality. So NOPE is exactly that kind of movie.

The amount of times I said the word "Nope" makes this the perfect title…
