Tobin Addington’s review published on Letterboxd :
It's remarkable to see Soderbergh toy with sentimentality. I can't recall him ever going back to this sort of story moving forward. It doesn't feel like a great fit of material to artist, and yet, his pure cinematic skill -- and his ability to get wonderful, sometimes slippery, often unexpected performances out of so many actors -- make it well worth seeking out.
The Criterion treatment is superb.
