    Can You Ever Forgive Me?

Well made movie based on a true story about an author who resorts to other means when she is no longer publishable as an author. Her self awareness is so lacking it feels awkward and painful. The chemistry between the main characters is solid yet underdeveloped. An Alternate title could have been "Reclusive Cat Lady Plays Catch Me If You Can."

The trainwreck of the true story is what keeps one watching to find out what happened. You start to feel for Lee Israel character, but not enough to make this a great movie. This is an okay film, but nothing outstanding.

I like M Night. I enjoyed this film. I honestly liked Split better, and I'm not sure I completely understand the origin story part.

Complaints will be made that this movie is merely a pro-life propaganda movie. It clearly is not propaganda since it is about a true life case surrounding a doctor in a low income area who abused the people he "served." You may not like the conclusions, but it is filled with truth.

I think the film explores the human condition and shows…
