Don't Look Up

Don't Look Up ★★★½

I had high expectations about this project, a union of incredible actors and a science fiction comedy. It had a lot to go wrong but I think it has a decent result.

It's not a great movie to see in movie theaters (like I did) but it has the potential to be number one when it comes out on Netflix. Beyond the jokes and bizarre things that purposely are, it has a contemporary and super important message about the human race, the world and the system. About the end I generated some anxiety and even ashamed to identify the society in which I live with the one presented in the film. It is quite long, and could have been simplified more, but it is enjoyable.

The performances all comply as expected, my favorites were Jennifer Lawrence (I loved to see her on screen again), Leo Dicaprio and Cate Blanchett, this last duet never fails. Meryl Streep fabulous and funny.
