What I love so much about this movie, which is one of the better films about the creative process in music, is that it finds joy in what can be utter mundanity and total frustration.

Pair this shit with something like “Europe Endless” by Kraftwerk and you’ll achieve total clarity.
Really though, viewed in the present time this is a beautiful ode to a time and place long since past. It’s a document of an age that may well be a fairytale.
