Every single thing about this movie is perfect.
The greenish-yellow interior lighting, The fact that it's a bigger budget film with an indie feel to it. The dreamlike quality. The incredible performances. The fact that Therese Belivet is the most adorable character to grace the big screen since Miranda July played Christine Jesperson. The way Carol refuses to submit to "living against her own grain" no matter the cost. Sarah Paulson and Kyle Chandler. The tremendous dialogue. The clothing. The look in Carol's eyes in the final shot.
Where the hell have I been?
